Live Music is Back!

While we have not yet gotten all the way back to the pre-pandemic life, we see a light at the end of the cultural tunnel and the Live Music Capital of the World is coming back to life. Here are some of our staff recommendations for when you are ready to visit a fantastic venue.

Check out each website and/or call the venue directly for any event notifications or advisements.

Stubbs – This Austin institution is now open for business and has a full slate of talent ready to perform!

The Continental Club – Recently reopened, this South Congress mainstay is getting back to business. This is a huge relief, since they have been going strong since 1955.

Antone’s – Austin’s “Home of the Blues” is back and booking. Their upcoming schedule includes local and national music acts, in addition to some comedy evenings.

The Elephant Room Currently closed but looking to reopen in the very near future. This underground (literally) jazz club is looking forward to a renaissance in the post-COVID world.

Broken Spoke – This Classic since 1964 has resumed its Honky Tonk ways. The Last of the True Texas Dance Halls also serves up a great menu.

Speakeasy – This jewel of the Downtown Warehouse District is alive and well with live music and comedy nearly every night.

Historic Scoot Inn – Running in some form since 1871, this venue was not going to let a global pandemic hold it down. Step into Austin history on 4th Street.

That is just a sliver of what is sure to be an unprecedented reemerging of the live music in the Capital City. We look forward to sharing some great times and great tunes very soon!
